Default First story-Christmas in the Shiverpeaks

This is one that i threw together for Lokii's contest...it's actually the first story i've ever written about Guild Wars...hope you all like it ^_^. And pelase, i'm open to feedback! Thanks

“Little humans! Over here, quickly!” cried Regnar Oaksplitter. “What do ya think you’re doin’ out there? The Stone Summit are near by!”
Hearing no reply and the sounds of whimpering, Regnar noticed on closer inspection that there was evidence of blood and tears. His face, usually hardened and marred by the scars of battle, instantly melted into a state of concern and compassion. “Here now, children, what’s gone wrong here?”

“S-shh-she saved us-s…” stammered a juvenile necromancer.
“Speak up, lad, who saved you from what?” inquired Regnar, realizing something grave had happened.
“She…that lady…she…we were being attack by Stone Summits; we ventured too far from our village. Suddenly she appeared, in all red, all by herself! She told us to run...we were so afraid, we did not argue with her.” The young boy started to cry again. “We ran, all three of us, like whimps. We did not even try to help her. We just left her there…to die in the hands of those filthy Stone Summits...” At this moment, the boy burst into tears. Regnar could tell he would not speak any further.
He turned to the young monk beside the boy, hoping she could tell him more. She said something, in a barely audible voice. “Her name was Haina. While running, I heard her yell to the Stone Summit, ‘My name is Haina! the last you will ever hear!’” … Regnar watched the girl, tears now welling in her eyes. The third child, he noticed, was crying more than both of the other children. What could these children have seen, experienced? What remorse they must feel, the life of a stranger, sacrificed for their own? He felt himself beginning to tear.

“Children, why are your faces covered in tears? Are you mourning in sorrow for the Stone Summit?” a voice filled with icy sarcasm pierced the moment of mourning.
“And you, too, dwarf?”

The crying stopped. Regnar looked up. Before him stood a beautiful necromancer, a bit tethered by the wind, a few scratches, but otherwise, unharmed.
“Are you...Hai” –“Yes, my name is Haina. I’m pleased to see my efforts were not wasted. The children are safe.” She looked at the wide-eyed children, a slight smile dancing on her lips, her eyebrows raised. She then burst into laughter. “Children, I’m here! And Stone Summit corpses all around!”

The moments following were filled with glee. “Now, you young monk, I don’t expect you to eat any of that body, I’ll have it instead. Here, have this staff…I like to call it the Yakslapper...funny name, huh?” Haina chuckled. “And for my apprentice..whatever are on those corpses, and the corpses themselves...are yours to practice with!” She turned to the smallest of the children. “And lastly, you, I could tell you love playing with fire. So here’s a special staff for you, too… it once belonged to a nasty, particularly famous Stone Summit named Rago…”…
Her words and their voices melted away as Regnar rested by the fire, knowing all was well.
He closed his eyes, and took a moment to take a breath. Thank Dwayna for her peace. And Grenth, for giving Haina strength.
